Through her interactions with mothers from diverse backgrounds, Tala is forced to confront her own aspirations and challenges. Directed by Maya Kenig and featuring a transcendent and haunting performance by Israeli musician Hila Ruach—who also composed the original score—the film offers a poignant and captivating exploration of the trials and triumphs, and the challenges and joys, of motherhood.
