Billie Mintz is an award-winning filmmaker and investigative journalist with a distinguished career producing and directing seven feature-length documentaries. After two seasons as a featured host on National Geographic's "Explorer," he completed the documentary feature film Portrayal for CBC’s Documentary Channel, which premiered at the 2021 Miami Jewish Film Festival. His other notable films include The Ponzi Scheme and Jesus Town USA, which premiered at Hot Docs and aired on Showtime, CBC, and Netflix.
