Mixed Marriage

Max Zagury is a successful and wealthy Sephardic businessman who owns a chain of casinos. Besides taking pride in his financial accomplishments, Max is also proud of his daughter, Lisa, who is not in the business of making money but works as an archeologist. Max would like for her to marry the son of his best friend, a plastic surgeon, but Lisa is already in love with another man who is not Jewish. Max gets upset when he finds out that Lisa is in love with a non-Jew. The groom’s family is not exactly happy about the marriage either, but they are willing to accept her into the family.
