Based on Larry Watson's best-selling novel of the same name, Let Him Go follows a retired sheriff (Costner) and his wife (Lane) who are still grieving the less of their son when they embark on a trip to rescue their young grandson from the dangerous Weboy clan, who are living off the grid in the Dakotas. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, they are left with no choice but to fight for their family.
