Ethan Hawke delivers an extraordinary performance as Jewish lyricist Lorenz Hart, Rodgers’ brilliant yet troubled former collaborator, with dazzling humor and aching vulnerability. Over the course of an unforgettable evening at Sardi’s, Hart regales a young composer (Margaret Qualley), a warm-hearted bartender (Bobby Cannavale), and essayist E.B. White (Patrick Kennedy).
