Together with his sons, Leon is working on the Vistula River as a miner, providing gravel and sand for the residents of Warsaw. One day the men encounter a desperate woman trying to commit suicide together with her daughter and pull them out of the river. When it turns out that they are both Jews, Leon makes a heroic decision. Risking his family's life, he decides to help the woman and offers her and her daughter a hiding place at his house.Sponsors

Director's Bio
Michał Rogalski graduated from the Ludz Film School. He is a recipient of the Laureate of the Silver Lajkonik Award and the Jury Award at the Kraków Film Festival. Hitler's Aunt is Michał's seventh feature film.
